While many places say that this is an A-pillar replacement, it actually covers your existing A-pillar. The ''replacement'' does not come with the stalks and clips that the native A-pillar has. As a result, if you try to use it as a full replacement, it sits poorly against the A-pillar metal. If you attach it to your existing A-pillar cover, you have to cut big holes in the original cover to let the wires and lines to the gauges through.

I was shy of cutting holes in the original plastic, but I got over it when I saw how weird the ''replacement'' hung off the bare metal.
